With the new 10-in-10 series, we look to host ten (10) -- 30-minute live sessions (once per week) to discuss the application process for the top-10 MBA programs.
The fourth episode will focus on Stanford’s Graduate School of Business (GSB). GSB is looking to attract a particular kind of applicant - accomplished and humble with a team spirit and a propensity to impact the world. When it comes to the application process, the criteria they evaluate each applicant are: (i) how you think, (ii) how you lead, and (iii) how you see the world. Being able to showcase these elements in a way that excited the admission team at GSB is the ultimate challenge.
In this webinar, Susan will help you navigate the application and answer any question that will help you craft a compelling narrative taking into account what GSB is looking for. The discussion can cover different elements of the application, including essay questions:
Essay 1: What matters most to you, and why?
Essay 2: Why Stanford?
Short-answer Question: Think about times you've created a positive impact, whether in professional, extracurricular, academic, or other settings. What was your impact? What made it significant to you or to others?
Please join us for a quick 30-minute discussion on the GSB application, and bring as many questions as you have to the discussion (or just come and learn from others’ questions).
