About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced MBA Admission Coach to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MBA admissions and possess the expertise and insight necessary to guide aspiring MBA candidates through the application process successfully. As an MBA Admission Coach, you will work closely with individuals to help them develop compelling applications, refine their statements, and prepare for admissions interviews.
The ideal candidate will:
Foster close relationships with MBA candidates, enjoying the process of working closely with them to achieve their admission goals.
Conduct comprehensive assessments of candidates' profiles, including academic achievements, work experience, extracurricular activities, and career goals, and guide areas for improvement.
Assist candidates in identifying target schools and developing a strategic approach for applying to MBA programs.
Recognize and cultivate the potential in each candidate, celebrating their progress and small improvements along the way.
Demonstrate a high level of stamina and dedication, finding satisfaction in hard work and productivity.
Engage in intellectual discussions with candidates, leveraging introspection to guide their application strategies effectively.
Take initiative and turn ideas into actionable plans, driving candidates towards successful admission outcomes.
Provide personalized coaching and guidance to MBA candidates throughout the admissions process.
Review and provide feedback on application materials, including resumes, essays, and letters of recommendation.
Offer insights and strategies for optimizing candidates' applications to increase their chances of acceptance.
Conduct mock interviews to help candidates prepare for admissions interviews, providing constructive feedback and tips for improvement.
Stay updated on trends and developments in MBA admissions, including changes to application requirements and selection criteria.
Collaborate with other team members to develop resources and materials for MBA candidates, such as workshops, webinars, and guidebooks.
Build and maintain relationships with MBA programs and admissions officers to stay informed about program offerings and requirements.
Qualifications:
A Master’s degree; MBA preferred.
Previous experience in MBA admissions coaching or a related field.
Strong understanding of MBA admissions processes and requirements for top-tier business schools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and provide constructive feedback.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients simultaneously.
Familiarity with online tools and resources commonly used in MBA admissions coaching.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards in admissions coaching.
