With the new 10-in-10 series, we look to host ten (10) -- 30-minute live sessions (once per week) to discuss the application process for the top-10 MBA programs.
The sixth episode will focus on MIT Sloan. MIT Sloan seeks applicants with personal characteristics that demonstrate that they are driven and determined to make an impact in the world and know how they will leverage the MIT Sloan resources to gain the skills and exposure to the opportunities needed to make it happen. They want “independent, authentic, and fearlessly creative” applicants “who can redefine solutions to conventional problems and strive to preempt unconventional dilemmas with cutting-edge ideas.” With that in mind, applicants need a nuanced approach to the application, which is characteristically different from other MBA applications.
In this webinar, Susan will help you navigate the application and answer any question that will help you craft a compelling narrative taking into account what MIT Sloan looks for. The discussion can cover different elements of the application, including the Cover Letter:
